Our Love Story
It all began with a swipe.
On January 30, 2020, we both swiped "right" on Bumble, a simple gesture that would change our lives forever. What started as a match quickly turned into a connection we couldn’t ignore. Our very first phone call lasted until 5 a.m., filled with laughter, curiosity, and the feeling that this could be something special.
A few days later, fate made it easy. We worked just minutes apart in downtown Toronto. A quick coffee meetup turned into hours of conversation and instant chemistry. From that moment on, we were inseparable.
Over the past five years, we’ve built a love rooted in friendship, deep connection, and shared values. We’ve traveled the world, danced through countless soca fetes, road-tripped to new places, cooked our favourite meals side by side, and created a life full of joy, unity, and intention.
What makes our journey even more meaningful is the love and support of our family and friends. Whether near or far, through celebrations and everyday moments, our people have always shown up, and we are endlessly grateful for the village that surrounds us.
Most importantly, our relationship has been guided by our faith. We give thanks to God for the love we’ve found, the growth we’ve shared, and the countless blessings along the way. We truly believe that God brought us together at the perfect time and has been present in every step of our journey.
On November 24, 2023, in a peaceful Muskoka cottage tucked away from the noise of the world, Neion asked Shanice to marry him. He got down on one knee, and she said yes with zero hesitation and a lot of happy tears.
Now, we’re counting down the days until we say “I do,” surrounded by the people who’ve supported us every step of the way. Our love story is just getting started, and we're so glad you'e a part of it!

Dress Code: Holiday Gala Glam
We’d love for our guests to join us in dressing to impress! This is a formal/black tie event, so think tuxedos or formal suits, and floor-length gowns with a festive twist.
Dress like you’re heading to a fancy holiday gala or ringing in the New Year in style. If you’re wondering whether it’s “too fancy,” it’s probably just right!

To keep our celebration intimate, attendance is limited to the names listed on your invitation. We kindly ask that no additional guests be brought along.

Adults-Only Celebration
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the chance to relax, dress up, and enjoy a festive evening celebrating with us!
